Summit County, Leaving Jan 13

I was able to find a ride from Georgia to Colorado, Since I am not bringing my car and I have absolutely no hookups in the area it looks like I will be staying at hostels and what not, I found a couple in Denver for only 15-20 bucks. Compared to the ones in Summit county that are like 40...

From my research If im correct for days I stay in Denver I can take the bus from Denver to the Frisco station and hop onto one of the summit stage shuttles to A-Basin... Correct?

Do you guys have any advice for me? Im lone gunning this trip and would love to make sure I have all the resources needed before I head out.

Any ideas on cheap lodging?
Anyone in the area want to let me couch surf or rent out a room for a fair price?
Anybody want to head up to A-basin with me? I also have a 5 day free to breck Vail copper that will come with my pass So I can go to most of them
420 hookups/riding buddies would be nice also?

You might try looking at the craigslist for the rockies... Might be able to find a room to rent for a little while.

Hell maybe even post an add asking for a room to rent and explain your deal.

And ya he's talking about a hostel Sam. It's kinda like a hotel for students/travelers. It's big in Europe

Ya I hit one up in Chicago back in 2005 I think... Was the first time I'd done it, it was the dead of winter, and it was like $40 to stay in the middle of downtown Chicago which was cheap..

The place had no heat, nasty rooms of course, and a community shower that I may or may not have caught an uncureable foot rash from.... Rash hasn't shown up yet but time will tell.

Hostels are typically disgusting and priced low for a reason. But they're the perfect situation for travelers on a budget....

Welcome to spreading bed bugs city though
