Default 7 Hours to kill in Denver

Due to circumstances beyond my control, I will be landing in Denver at 10AM with the resot my group landing at 6Pm that same Saturday.

What should I do to kill 7 hours in Denver (by myself) before picking them up and drving out to Breck?

I'd go to Downtown Denver. Maybe check out the library, it's actually pretty kewl. Grab a drink at Breck Brewery or the Wynkoop. Lot's of stuff on the 16th street mall and a theater.

Another closer option, is you could go over to Northfield at Stapleton and catch a movie at the Harkins theater. There are some bars and restaurants around there too.

There is also the Denver Museum of Natural history, the Zoo, Aquarium.

If you give Neversummer a call you might be able to get a tour of the factory. They are just off I70 on Colorado Boulevard. About 15 minutes are so from the airport. Closer than downtown.

A few things. Sounds as though your picking up a rental and then waiting for your friends to land, BTDT.
1. go downtown Denver, check out 16th street walking mall.
2. Hit up Never Summer factory and check them out making boards..(need to contact them first)
3. Take 470? north to Boulder, quick but expensive toll road up there from the airport. Check our Pearl St & grab lunch.
4. Hike around the NCAR trails if you go to boulder, great way to kill an afternoon if the weather is decent.
5. go to a movie?
6. make sure your back to the airport before rush hour, unless your doing the Boulder 470 toll road thing. (its never that busy) but I-25 becomes a parking lot and I-70 isn't much better through the metro area.

(Edit..damn Killclimbz you beat me to the post but were on the same wavelength!)
P.S. agree on the Denver PL, its pretty awesome.

I am going to be in the same situation in late Feb. Never would have thought of trying to tour the NS factory, that is a great idea. Thanks Kill.

If the weather is decent there is also the skatepark in downtown Denver. It's pretty sweet, all sorts of pools, banks, and such. It would also be a great way to break yourself, but if you enjoy skating it's not to be missed. No pads or helmets required, 60,000 sq ft and it's free...
