Hey,
Interested in the sport of kite boarding. Im an instructor based out of the chicago area. For those of you who dont know what snowkiteing is. It's bassically the same as snowboarding except you're powered by the wind. You use a "kite" for power that allows you to do 20+ or even 30+ foot jumps and land back down like a feather. You dont need mountains or even hills to snowkite all you need is wind. No more lift tickets. Check out this video for a better look at the sport. YouTube - Stunning HD Snow Kiting Video Snow kiting is a much easier way to learn then on water. It is very rewarding, allot of fun, great workout and helps get you ready for next years water session. Kite boarding can be a dangerous sport, lessons are highly recommended. Whether you're completely new to the sport of just want to polish up on some skills. I design each lesson on a personal basis. All teaching is done one on one usually in 2 hour sets. I teach mainly up on Big Muskego which right now has about a 14 inch ice depth on the Wisconsin boarder but if conditions permit lessons can be scheduled anywhere, I provide transportation up to the spot. Sign up now for snow kiting lessons. I am available 7 days a week for the next month or so pretty much anytime the winds blowing. I already have spots filled so please email me to make reservations. Many competitors are charging upwards of $70+ an hour Rates: Includes transportation 50$ an hour for private 101 snow kiting lessons (minimum of 2 hours) All lessons include all kite gear, kites, harness, etc. transportation if needed. 101 course: Total cost only $100 incl. 2 hour lesson covers learning your kites safety systems, wind window, snow kiting, overall riding, emergencies etc. This course is to get you up and riding on a snowboard or skis. This course is most popular because it covers pretty much everything to get you started safely. Land kite practice lessons (i.e. trainer kite): 30$ an hour This will cover flying a slingshot B3 trainer kite and will teach the wind window and how to control the kite. This lesson is for someone completely new to the sport or looking to polish up there flying skills. The snow kite 101 course is perfect for someone looking to get into the sport the right way. To signup or if you have any questions about the sport feel free to give me a call at 847-571-7457 or PM if I do not answer please leave you're name and number and I will call you back. Thanks Henry Lazerow Chicago Snowkiteing 847-571-7457-cell P.S hoping for good snow Monday and Tuesday |
