Tell me about the West

Hey all, maybe it's just the mid El Niņo winter blues, but I've been contemplating a move west next winter. I'm from MA, and did/doing the VT thing this winter, having a good time, but I have my gripes, which I won't bring up here, least of which is lack of snow.

Work is not an issue, as I am in foodservice, so my options are wide open. I just have questions for people who have moved there. Is this a case of greener grass on the other side? Are there locations where not having a car is a feasible option? Thinking CO for the Epic pass, opens the options up for employment (not getting stuck in a resort job). Heading back to MA in a few months and plan to work my ass off, so I should be financially set to do a move west.

Well, like, there's snow in the winter.....and you can snowboard. There's lots to do, like, um....smoke...pot........ and party. Yeah.....

And........oh, um, you can, like, work if you find a job that the locals haven't already grabbed onto. Yeah....

Hiiiiiii!!!! I'm Sam. How you doin'?
