I have a few years ago. It's a pretty good mountain for skiing and boarding. Good for wide range of skill level. Haven't been there for a while so can't comment on the park's condition. Given the weather Ontario is getting this week. The snow will be very wet. They are reporting 70 cm of base but from the webcam, I can see greens on the side of the trail.

I'm hoping for a little more freezing weather and new snow making done on the hill. (cross my fingers)

I was at Horseshoe a few weeks ago before it got all warm and rainy in Ontario. Nice resort, lots of diversity. They had a giant inflated landing bubble in the park that you could sign up for and take crazy jumps into. Fun place, but lacks the village of Blue.

As for the conditions this week... Hard to say. I was at MSLM just up the highway on Sunday and the conditions there were pretty decent. Trails on the periphery were closed (though I don't know if that was due to ground conditions, the sucky rainy weather, or the total lack of people). Loose corn over most of the area, a little wet/slushy (but it was raining), icy patches on the steeper inclines, puddles in the flats, some exposed grass here and there. I saw the hole where they measured the base and it was in fact pretty deep, but of course that's not consistent over the mountain. Horseshoe is probably similar.

I think Horseshoe has pretty clearly stated they will close after March Break. Unsure of MSLM...
