Jay peak conditions?

Hey, I wanna squeeze in a few more trips before putting my board away.

Debating weather I should go now or wait 'till my finals are done (April 19th)

How are the conditions right now? (like for real, none of that resort website crap)

When are they pretty much done for the year? (again no bs, cause it's still 50$ a ticket even if there are only 5 runs open.. :P !!)

Thx a lot!!

Just read on Jay's site that in "celebration" of closing the old hotel, they're offering a nights stay in a SLOPESIDE room, including lift tix AND breakfast and dinner for just $59. They're tearing it down in a few weeks, and they admit that it ain't the best digs, but for $59 I don't think I'd care if there were only a few trails open. That said, a lot will depend upon this weekend. It's supposed to get pretty warm, and I imagine it will be the end for a lot of resorts. Jay is far enough north that it might survive it, though. Hell, Stowe got half a foot of new snow this week. Anything's possible.

Unfortunately, I didn't make it to Jay this year. Sad...I love the place.
