HELP- Leaving for Colorado tomorrow!!! - Snowboarding Forum

I'm leaving for colorado tomorrow to visit UC Boulder and i wanna ride what mountains that are still open have to the best late season riding???

YES thank you dude i was planning on hitting breck but they like just closed. A-basin sounds nice actually anything sounds nice i'm from PA ice coast so i just wanna ride

Word on the street is Aspen will have one mountain open this weekend too.

BUMP alright loveland and a-basin are both gettin some snow tonight i might be able to hit both saturday and sunday but if i had to choose which one should i go to...im leaning towards a-basin

Loveland for less of a crowd and some better terrain, a basin for party atmosphere, better park, and more pumped out terrain.

Loveland for sure. You'll have to deal with all the Colorado and Epic Pass holders trying to get in one more powder day at the Basin.

I plan on hitting A-Basin tomorrow, then I'll be at Loveland on Saturday.

If you go to LL today or tomorrow, you should be in for a serious powder day. Get going early on Saturday so you can make first chair. It should be awesome.

I was at Loveland today and I must say it did not live up to my expectations. There was about 6" of fresh I'd say, but under that was partially frozen chop so it was pretty rough going in a lot of places. The trees were nice though. The storm moved in later than they expected so tomorrow should be better. I'm gonna try again.

At the rate it's coming down and how slick the roads are it's going to be hell getting up to A basin from the front range, go to Loveland.
