Mammoth anyone?

Anybody heading to Mammoth this weekend 1/12-1/14th? There was a recent storm that dumped approx 12ft of new snow! I'm heading up there with 4 of my buddies so just checking to see if anybody is going to take advantage of the new pow!

damn sorry I missed this. My dbl cab was packed w/4 of us.

We tried to ride as much as we could all Sat and went over to June Mtn on Sun.

Honestly, Mammoth is huge resort in all but Sat was packed and the conditions were decent, packed powder. June is about 12 miles north of Mammoth off the 203 and was fully open! I actually like June Mtn over Mammoth b/c it wasn't as busy and the runs were wide open!!

lol no problem dude. glad you had fun!
how was june mountain's lifts? i've had experiences with resorts like that were their totally empty but the lifts are rediculously slow, which is probably why the place is so empty.
and the park too! hows the park on june? mammoth has a SICK park which is why im so loyal to it

Yeah June's lifts were super slow but every 4 lifts had a person on it, thats how dead it was.

The park @ June was ok. They had a entry level mini park with some nice kickers towards the end.

I didn't really notice Mammoth's park, besides the half pipe and some fun boxes heading up the gondola. I still think Mt High and Bear have the best parks in California.

yea mt high has an amazing park, and SUPER FAST LIFTS!!!, bear has a nice park as well but its only awesome when the conditions are awesome cus if their not your riding in mud
yea utah was like june. the lifts are SUUUUUPEr slow and it was like a twenty thirty minute ride for a 3-5 minute run...not worth it.

yeah but what sucks for me is that Mt High is still a good 2.5 hours away from me and Bear a good 3!

I hear ya about the uber slow lifts but coming a packed resort on Sat @ Mammoth, going to June and having a wide open run w/absolutely no wait made up for the slow lifts.
