Anyone here ride Wachusett regularly?

I have a season pass there and I have been having some great luck with great snow a lot this year. I had one icey day and aside from that it has been a blast. It would be cool to meet some of you guys.

It's my home mountain also (30 minute drive). My oldest son and I are bronze pass holders. We're there most Friday and Saturday nights. It would be great to meet up and do a run or two sometime. Unfortunately, this weekend is a bit of an anomaly and we're skipping tonight, and tomorrow I'm bringing a bunch of first-timers so I'll be sticking to the bunny slopes. I agree, the snow has been great this year!

Headed up tonight with a couple friends and my son, should get there around 6-6:30 hopefully. Anyone else there tonight?

I'll be wearing this and probably carrying my GoPro on a pole:

Well, I just got back. Didn't get a single run. We got there a little before 7 and there was rain and spectacular lightning. They shutdown the lifts right as we walked up, but they said they weren't closing yet and would re-evaluate in a half-hour. We went inside and grabbed a bite, came back out and things were moving again so we hopped right in line. We were about four rows from loading when they shutdown again (citing lightning). Again they said they would re-evaluate in a half-hour. So we hung out. Then they announced they were closing early, apparently due to tornado warnings.

Although I didn't actually get to ride, the snow at the base didn't seem bad considering the freak weather. Seemed to be typical wet granular, but not total slush.

In general, the conditions there have been fantastic this season up until now with this ridiculous heat wave.

Wow, that sounds like a crazy time. This weather has certainly been interesting. I last rode Wachusett in December and the conditions were phenomenal. I am planning on riding there in March when I'm home from school. Hopefully the snow lasts that long.
