So I am now trying to do a budget trip to VT with my GF. I would like to go for a weekend or a few days in March the week ending the 19th. I already did a Stratton week so I gotta keep this one a tad cheaper. Any help would be great. Thanks. I really could use advice on places to stay on the cheap.

Cheepest spot will probably be Newport City MotelIt is about a half hour from the resort.
Liftopia has some ticket deals usually. If you want to stay close but cheepish and don't mind staying in what is kind of a dump but next door to the resort there is always The Snowline |

Yea, I've stayed at the Newport Motel a bunch of times. It's a good place to stay and you can make it to Jay in 20 minutes if you speed. There also a bunch on inns along the access road. The Jay peak Village Inn is a fun place to stay too.

Thanks. I will check out the Jay Village Inn. I am also thinking of Mt. Snow since I am coming from Jersey but I don't want it to be too icy or slushy. What's the point of going to Vermont if it is no better than the Poconos. That being said, after the 68 degree days I doubt the Poconos will be rideable at all any more this season.
