Just as the title says. Cheap flights opened up into Denver end of March beginning of April. Trip won't be 100% about snowboarding, as we'll enjoy the food and beer as well. But is it even worth it that time of year? Or it's too late in the season?

Its a roll of the Dice, but you should be good. I've been out there three times during the Easter week (usually same time as you) and the conditions varied. Some days were sunny with corn on the hills and wonderful outside drinks in the evening sun. Other days were blustery friggin cold, other days were fluffy fluff fluff snow. The biggest gamble you take is catching a rain day. Crowds are generally thinner later in the season, too (with the exception of the Easter week).

Rain days in the mountains (at the ski areas) are pretty rare events in Colorado, even into April. That is more of a rest of the West problem. For March you are golden. The rest of needsnow's description of that time of year is pretty accurate.
