Hey guys, I'm starting to plan a trip to either Utah or Colorado in late december, probably right after christmas. I'm planning on staying for 6 nights, hopefully getting 5 days of riding in. I'm an intermediate rider, I usually stick to the blues/blacks and I'm gonna try to get some backcountry riding in.
I went to Copper last winter and had a blast. Ive been checkin out Copper, Breckonridge, Brighton, and Snowbird. Any advice on a relatively affordable place to go? Im in college so my budget's limited. Thanks |

1. It's early. Prices and all that sort of thing are not even set for next season. If you go to Utah, it stands to reason it'll be cheaper to stay in Salt Lake City than staying at the mountain. Everything else for now is a crapshoot at best. Come fall, prices should start getting set.
2. You need to elaborate more about what you mean. I have a hunch that you have no idea what backcountry riding is, so what is it that you are interested in doing? |

They only allow Mormon's in Utah in December. You might be better off going to CO.
I hope you mean off-piste riding and not backcountry. If not let me know where you go if you come here so I can avoid that area. I will be selfish and not want to try to dig someone up who isn't even beeping. Probe line isn't how I want to spend my new years |
