I don't know what to think. This could be awesome, but just as I was going to get the alpine/kirkwood pass for the sake of community and quiet vibes, this blows everything wide open. It may cause a balance between crowds and experience levels, which would be interesting. The big plus is that if you have a pass, it covers both resorts. Crazy. Now you can hit 6000 acres total.
Thoughts? Concerns? Squaw Valley Buys Alpine Meadows - OnTheSnow If you already bought an alpine/kikwood/homewood/red lodge/ Durango pass before sept. 26 you get sqauw for free. I shouldn't have waited! Hah. Squaw/ alpine is 799 unrestricted ( same as the multi pass) and just noticed the ad up, top of the forum. Last edited by Kahanquest; 09-28-2011 at 09:04 PM. |

I have a feeling the boundary rules are going to be changing at alpine. Get it while it's open policy. I think it's pretty rad, especially for the other riders I go with. But I Also feel everyone will be flocking to alpine if they're used to squaw and vise versa. Def. A good deal. Getty twitchy.
