Thanksgiving weekend in Colorado! Help!!!

Brothers I am going to beaver creek for the weekend but I called today and was told the would open only one run for the weekend. Any recommendations as to where to go? I was thinking Breck. I am from Miami so I don't know much around there. I would appreciate if you can help.

Tough call even here in Utah the only resorts with any significant terrain open are Brighton and Solitude :-( sounds like more big snow rolling in for the holiday so hopefully that changes.

How about Wolf Creek?

Dude...

Wolf Creek is like a five hour drive from Beaver Creek.

If the OP is able to change plans then by all means go to Wolf Creek. It's 100% open and has good coverage.

If you're staying in Beaver Creek regardless, Breck, Copper, and Loveland will have the most open. Loveland is going to be the least crowded, Breck the most. Of course if you have Vail resort lift tix, they are probably good at Breck too.

Keystone's got a sick park setup right now if you're into that stuff.. and they'll be opening A51 this Thurs.. Breck will be too crowded I imagine. Copper is awesome also.

breck, loveland, keystone and abasin have the most terrain open, nowhere is good. everyone has 18 inches of ice with some snow on the top depending if they got any or if it was warm enough to soften it up.

loveland and abasin will give you the most chill situation, limited amenites and terrain options (2blues and a green ish). not sure about loveland but the basins park was just a couple rails last week.

keystone has slightly more terrain open, but it is basically one big long run top to bottom. their minipark opened with something like 30 features, all pretty small, no kickers.

breck has the most terrain open, their medium size park is up with a 3 kicker line and some bigger (than keystones) obstacles.

everything will be a giant shitshow because of the lack of terrain and holiday weekend, know that you arent missing ANYTHING no matter where you choose to go.

not sure what is going on at copper this year but its still my favorite and has a similar local appeal (slightly less shitshow) to the basin and loveland.
