Default Las Vegas Area

I know this is a stretch on this board but I will try anyways.

I am leaving tonight for the Rock n' Roll marathon in Vegas. I saw they scored 30" in the last 24 hours. I then thought I would go to the resort, but they are asking for 60 bones for a lift pass. I only want to get a few pow turns. I then decided I would bring the split, but they are telling me I have to still buy a lift pass even though they are on USFS land. Does anyone know of any good skin tracks or areas around Mt Charleston? I am just looking for some fun mellow terrain that I can lap for a few hours? All I want is powder since the Wasatch has gotten skunked! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am pretty sure there is plenty of USFS land outside of the ski area you can skin. I saw your splitboard.com post. If you're brave you might try to find a kook or two who know the area on Telemarktips.

Yea I am truly not expecting much Beta off of here, but you never know One guy off split sent me a PM and might meet me there. I would rather not go alone, but I would ride low angle stuff solo if there are 30" down haha. I was disappointed I can't just lap the ski resort on public land ugh! I don't know if I am brave enough for tele skiers
