Colorado... late December? - Snowboarding Forum

Does it look like any resorts will be dumped on between now and the days after christmas? It seems from all the snow reports and Snowolf's recent post that nobody will have anything good until later on in the year. Is there any where that isn't only like 20% open? Hoping to drive up there soon. New Mexico would probably be a shorter drive, but I'm going there later in the year and it looks even worse right now.

Wolf Creek has been getting nailed this year and I believe they have been 100% open for quite some time now. It's probably going to be closer to you than any of the front range resorts.

Wolf Creek is 100% open. Last time I checked they had over 60" mid mountain depth.

There is a shot at a storm cycle for Colorado starting around the 13th. It could change things in a hurry or it could be a wet far. After next week, we should have a good idea if things are going our way.

not good out there..i think keystone was open 12% so far yesterday. the base in the keystone/vail/breck area are really low. wasn't worth it to make the drive for me today out there.
