The snow won't be fresh, but there's at least some coverage. If it is your first time out west, then you'll enjoy it just for the aesthetic! Maybe you'll catch the change in the weather that WILL happen during the month of January!

Seriously hoping the snow picks up. I have a trip planned for feb 4-11 and I'm so damn glad i didn't book early january but still extremely bummed out because of the current conditions. Last times I've been there already a huge base by jan.

Beaver Creek is an awesome resort. My favorite here on the I-70 corridor, on none powder days. You'll still have fun, they have some really fast groomed runs that are tons of fun (Golden Eagle), and it usually isn't crowded. I haven't been this year since I switched passes, so I can't comment on the coverage, but I would imagine they have a lot of groomed terrain open.
