I'll be heading to Denver for a few days in the next month or so and was wondering what would be the best and most convenient resorts to check out? Thanks
Loveland/Keystone/Copper/Breck are all about the same distance, around 60-90 mins.. Loveland is known for its freeriding and its mostly locals. Keystone A51 park and not much else. Copper I don't know much of and Breck seems to be the most resorty of the 4 but has very nice parks and pretty good freeriding
Vail is an hour further I think and its parks arent too good but their back bowls are awesome
Echo is the closest to denver but its pretty tiny..
The parks this year at vail are actually pretty nice, at least double what they have been in years past. The pipe is not a full super pipe though and the biggest jumps are around 45'. They also have a decent beginner park on the lionshead side. The large park is on the golden peak side. If you look up vail park crew on FB you can see it.
