Heavenly and Kirkwood next week with 25 other people. How is it this time of year? (both the nightlife and riding)

I am not sure about night life, I was in a family trip and could not scape. But spring riding in Tahoe is excellent and this year the was pretty good too. We had a great time and even got a couple of flurries while we were there.

I would for sure recommend it.

Was pretty much slush over "pebble like" conditions in SugarBowl yesterday, and VERY hot...but it should dump again this week.

i just got back from south tahoe a couple days ago. it was very warm, and by the end of the day there was a lot of slush. i went up the mountain as soon as it opened and the freshly groomed trails were really nice. you kinda need to take a day to find out what time of day to go to which part of the mountain. i had ice, slush, and powder, you just had to know where to look.

It sounds like the conditions of Sugar bowl last season, they can be fun if you know where to look.

what are the different areas @ tahoe like? been to sierra-at-tahoe(?) once but have noooooooo clue what the entire place is like. went up for 1 day total.
