Hey everyone,
A friend and I are looking to travel to SLC for a week this winter and go to some resorts. I've been to the Canyons and Park City and really liked both, but I think I want to try out Brigton, Solitude, and Snowbird. I went during the first week of april in 2011 and got some wet powder days and bluebird days as well, but I'm guessing that there's a better time to go than that as far as snow conditions go. What weeks or months have the best chance for great snow? Thanks in advance for your help! |

March would be my suggestion. There needs to be some period of time to establish a base, ortherwise a lot of the good terrain will still be shit. Plus, Jan and Feb can be cold as Eff! I prefer any time after the Daylight Savings Time ends. That extra hour really adds to the enjoyment, IMHO.

How much money do you have? Best way to predict it is buy your ticket the night before a good storm. You will for sure have the best snow that way.
