Season in Switzerland
 

Im doing a whole season boarding in switzerland in 2013 (dec - apr) :cheeky4:

Am going to get a season let on an apartment and prob spend the entire season in one spot boarding 3 - 4 times a week.

Love both on and off piste and also love the park.

Am tossing up between Zermatt and Verbier at the mo.

Anyone been to these spots and elsewhere in swit? Any idea on which will be more fun for 5 months and also which would be cheaper? Will prob home cook most the time and buy drinks from store and make own lunch so they are not an issue.

Seems there are a ton of other cheaper but also large places to go in Switzerland. Anyone been there?

they may be two of the most expensive places in europe you have chosen. but between them verbier would be my choice and is closer to the french and italian resorts. havent spent long periods in either (week at each while we did a season in france) dont think either would be a bad choice though. i also enjoyed Saas Fee. didnt really venture any further so cant give advice on any more.

the jungfrau region is pretty good but expensive to stay up the mountain
staying in the town of interlaken isnt too bad

zermatt borders on the back of cervinia which is a decent size resort
