Hello All,

I wanted to throw out some feelers for some great places to Snowboard in the WV area that aren't Snowshoe related. I am flying in to PIttsburg to stay with my dad for a week and wanted to get to a new resort that I have yet to board at but not sure what is a legit spot. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...I am willing to go within 3 hrs of Pitt airport. Please feel free to chime in!
Thanks!
Mike

I typically show up to snowboard and if night lifts are available then I'm doing them and by the time I'm done....I'M DONE! maybe its me getting old but I can't seem to hang after being on the mountain all day...a single IPA and I'm crashing after a long day ;) Thanks for the suggestion I'll look up Canaan

Seven Springs has a 750' Vertical with over 200 acres of terrain. Canaan has 850' Vert with less than 100 acres. I'd go with Seven Springs, personally. I started my riding there and the snow is usually pretty reliable with lake-effect snow.
