Trapped on the East Coast

Hello All,

I wanted to throw out some feelers for some great places to Snowboard in the WV area that aren't Snowshoe related. I am flying in to PIttsburg to stay with my dad for a week and wanted to get to a new resort that I have yet to board at but not sure what is a legit spot. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...I am willing to go within 3 hrs of Pitt airport. Please feel free to chime in!
Thanks!
Mike

Don't have much experience with that area other than Snowshoe. I did go to Canaan Valley a few times as a kid. I remember it being fairly nice but completely void of any real town/nightlife if you care about that.

Go to 7 springs. It is by far the best resort in the area. Also only 1.5 hours away from shitsburgh

Seven Springs has a 750' Vertical with over 200 acres of terrain. Canaan has 850' Vert with less than 100 acres. I'd go with Seven Springs, personally. I started my riding there and the snow is usually pretty reliable with lake-effect snow.
