January Banff Trip! - Snowboarding Forum

Hey Guys,

So I'm flying to Banff solo from Jan.9th to 17th. I was wondering what some good bars are and if anyone wants to catch a few pow days or beers since I know noone!

I ride mostly glades or will be just dicking around on the hill, might make some park runs if it feels right.

23 years old, male!

I think I will be away then. Post in the Western Canada section for hookups.

If you want to meet locals try Mel's or Tommie's for a beer. Usually the later the better. The elk is also worth a look.

We have had loads of snow so the season is shaping up to be a good one!

Seems like there's a lot of us on here in the Calgary area. Post back in early Jan or just before your trip I'm sure some of us will be out on the hills. I'm on the snow over the entire xmas break, most weekends, and whenever I take off a few days mid-week.

Can't wait!!! There's no snow here in Ontario yet but hopefully soon.
