hey all, bunch of buddies are putting a trip together early teens of Jan. i have been following the weather reports diligently and its rather warm.
i have only one west trip in me this year, so i was curious if its worth booking for that time. I have those cat rides in mind from powder mtn. (for one day atleast) |

Also, when you are checking the weather, check the weather at the mtns, not SLC. You're looking at a good 5000+ foot of elevation gain from Dowtown SLC to the top the of the peaks. That makes a difference between rain/sun and snow! Many times I've experienced light sprinkles or nothing in the Valley and 5-8 inches of snow on the mountain. FEB/March are usually reliable options. Here is some data if you're a number cruncher.
