Whistler Costs

Hi, I am planning on going to Whistler for about a month with 3-4 other mates. I was wondering if anyone else (preferably from Australia) are willing to share an approximate on how much it cost them to get over there, then how much it cost once you were there. Also what is the best way to stay over there? I was thinking of renting out a 3 bedroom Chalet kind of thing but I have heard that it is just about as good getting a hotel room or something of the like. Any knowledge that could be shared about Whistler would just be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

I'll give u a quick reply

I did whistler with 4 other people 2 years ago
..we got a 3 bedroom condo..slopeside on trail underneath the wizard lift..dope location..5 min walk to the village

we did 3 days riding .. 4 nights sleeping

I wont talk plane ticket pricing since Im on the east coast of the US so it would be completely different

around $50 Roundtrip bus from the airport to your front door
around $50 a person for grocery and alcohol delivery service to our condo pre arrival
Around $500 per person for the condo and lift ticket combined..booked through the resort and got a killer deal
$30 per day for first tracks breakfast--a must do
about $300 more for food a partying while there...

so about $1000 for everything other than planeflight

hope that helps

If its $1000 for 4 days, then you are looking at $7000 for the month...probably be cheaper due to the longer stay and number of lift tickets
