Where do you live?
If you live in Canada or Washington you can get an edge card with discounted tickets depending on how many you buy. A 5 day pass gives a pretty good discount I believe. If that's not an option, search the interwebz for deals

Kinda confused by the edge card.
I'm going to be there from April 15 to 22. Checking out the Whistler website it looks like I can buy a pack of 5 passes for $304 if I'm just buying tickets. Whistler Blackcomb - Winter Lift Tickets - Whistler, BC But if I buy tickets with the edge card it's $375 Whistler Blackcomb - EDGE Cards Yet they say "your Card continues to get you the lowest lift ticket rate"... ![]() I don't understand? |

If you buy an Edge card, you're buying at current prices. Look at the 5-pack price for Dec/Jan --- $465?
If you go to buy the Edge card when you're here, you'll probably get the April prices. That's my theory. You could phone or email and ask.

Here is their reply:
Whistler Blackcomb Reservation Centre Quote:
So I guess the tickets can be the cheaper option - even though the card should be cheaper.

edge cards can be used whenever. april is spring conditions so its cheaper. makes sense to me...
i know a trick you can use to get up the mountain with multiple people on one pass. basically buy a pass, sit in the base 2 parking lot (blackcomb), then when your buddy goes up the gondola get him to throw the pass out the window. ride to the base, wait 5-10min or so then go up. works well if you only plan on riding blackcomb. there also room + lift ticket deals that may be worth looking into. the most recent one i saw was $109 a night per person.
