Looking for a place to stay in the French or Austrian Alps
Howdy, my names Brody, 27 year old dude visiting the Alps. Im an Avid snowboarder from Canada and looking forward to shreddin up the Alps. Iv been told that Les Trois Vallées, Chamonix in france are suppossed to be pretty good. I was looking into places to stay at Les Trois Vallées but it seems everywhere is more accomodating for a group of people not when your on your own. Also im not sure how much time is really needed to really see the good parts of this mountain. Sounds like its pretty massive. Austria sounds like a good time but i have no knowledge of where to go or whats good. Chamonix seems as though it has lots of hostiles so i dont see that being a problem but would be nice to run into some locals who really know the mountains and all the sweet spots.
Im in Berlin visiting at the moment and plan to head to the alps on the 21st of jan on the monday, i have all my gear with me and am ready to go just need some info or possibly if someone has a little zone i could use or pitch some money to stay? Also im not sure if anyone knows the best and cheapest way to get from Berlin down to the Alps, any information would be extremely appreciated.
Cheers, would look forward to meeting some of you.
