After being spoiled and being able to ride in the PNW, great ole Uncle Sam has decided to station me in Korea
Looks like this'll be my last season here. Only plus side is taking trips to Japan.

Makes you feel like a piece of meat eh? At least you know that it's not forever. Also, there is a scene that is just starting to develop in Korea. They have mountains, snow, and some ski areas. Looks limited, but I am also thinking that the backcountry possibilities haven't even been touched upon there either. As you said, Japan is only a short flight away...

My friend said he had a lot of fun snowboarding in Korea. I have no idea of his skill set though or how involved he is in boarding. Every time I invite him, he bails on me. You got me worried about my PCS now.
