hey guys,
i will be in Toronto in a few weeks and would really love to have a go at snowboarding, can anyone recommend a spot around the Toronto area where i would be able to get a couple of days first time tuition and then a few days on some simple easy slopes, i will be be on my own so somewhere with some cheap accommodation near by would be ideal, so far i have only been able to find large expense family resorts. if anyone can provide any info it would be greatly appreciated, thanks |

Given you do not have wheels, your best two options are:
Day Trip: Mount St. Louis Moonstone Bus Transportation You can get to Yorkdale very easily via TTC Subway. There is no hillside accommodation at Moonstone. Overnight: Blue Mountain Greyhound.ca | Ski Specials - Ontario Again, you will need to get to Yorkdale. There is a number of places to stay right at the hill at Blue. Blue Mountain Resort, Official Site : Ontario's Only 4 Season Mountain and Village Resort, Canada |
