Gonna be staying in Summit County for 5 days in early March. Planning to get the pass with access to Vail, Breck, Beaver Creek, and Keystone but I don't plan on riding all of them since I've only got 4 days. I understand Summit gets quite a bit of snow in March, so that's a plus.
With that said, what resort would serve me best if I prefer open powder fields, tree riding, and bombing down blues and blacks? I'd assume the Vail back bowls would be recommended but should I visit any of the other resorts for those options? It sounds like Breck may have some pretty good options as well. Would it be best to split my time at those two? Appreciate your input! Thanks |

Trees - Breck
Bombing groomers - Keystone Abasin is a small but fun mountain too, if you're staying up there I'd hit it for a half day. Breck is good if you know the mountain well, it gets annoying if you're not familiar with it.. That said, the trees there are nice. Keystone has tons of long groomers with nice rollers here and there. ... Sure hope we get some snow. There's some to found in the trees but there are surprises along the way. |
