Shortest Lines on President's Day Weekend in VT or ME?? - Snowboarding Forum

Looking to hit up either VT or ME this President's Day weekend, was wondering where would be the best to go to avoid the crowds. I've been looking at Stowe and Sunday River, but was wondering if anyone had any info on less popular mountains.

Don't need the sickest terrain or anything, just don't want to be on line the whole weekend. Thanks.

Heard Sunday River might not be deep enough into Maine to avoid the crowds, but how deep does one have to go?

I would definitely go to Sunday river over Stowe for crowds

Anything else in the area that you can recommend? I don't necessarily need the biggest mountain, but I figured at least that'll spread people out. Sugarbush is just a little too far for me to drive to.
