Default Questions about Stowe

Looking to go to Stowe on March 10-13 and hope to capitalize on some midweek specials.

Would like to know from people who've frequented there...

1.) What are good inexpensive places to stay at? Preferably a place that has at least a small microwave and fridge. Don't need a full kitchen.

2.) Looking to get private lessons. Anyone recommend anyone there. I'm a solid intermediate rider.

The Stowe Motel is my goto - cheap, on Mountain Road, decent accomodations. They have small hotel rooms up to full houses for 15-20 people, so can handle most sizes.

No recommendations on lessons, though.

You can also contact the guys at I've worked with them a number of times and the result is usually worth-while, considering a lift ticket & Room combo.
