Snowboard lesson for kids - Snowboarding Forum

Our annual Spring Break trip to Breck is coming up and I would like for my 13 year old nephew and 9 year old niece to take a 1/2 day private lesson. Nephew boarded last year and niece can ski but wants to board this time out.

Unfortunately, I don't have $500 to blow on 1/2 day private lesson at Breck's Ski and Ride school.

Are there any other options for hiring a local instructor to teach the kids the basics?

Any solid educational videos that I could purchase for kids?

or ask some good boarders on the mt
