4 days in Aspen/Snowmass. Need advice! First timer!

Hey guys

Going to be staying in Snowmass for 4 days starting Monday and I plan to ride all of em!

It's my first time and I need advice on Aspen/Snowmass/Highlands/Buttermilk

going to be at Snowmass 100% for a day or 2.

!!-----> What are the Must-hit trails???<-----!!
I love trees and scenic runs. Open to wide groomers to fly too!

Only been to Heavenly on the west before but comfortable on all terrain except giant jagged rocks!
Riding a 2012 Custom 160.

Anything else to /do /see/ ride or eat let me know!

Thanks in advance and if you'll be there and wanna link up let me know I'll be with family and itching to get away!

Safety tips appreciated too! I know tree wells are a different ball game out there.

Longshot at the top of Elk lift at Snowmass. Got to check out the view from the Patrol cabin at the top of Highlands.

I just came back from Snowmass/Aspen. It was GREAT! I stayed at the Wildwood which is part of the Westin, so you can ski-in/ski-out to Snowmass, and catch the bus over to Aspen at the base of the village.

The Cirque was lots of fun (still some powder stashes in the trees, some steeps- think Mott canyon at Heavenly steep in some places), Long Shot is 3.5 miles and well worth the hike, and there's a steeper run that goes along the side of it. I was going to Highlands, but patrol said it was pretty icy and blown at the top so I ended up at Aspen today. It's kinda small and boring after spending an full day (9-3:30) on Snowmass, but you can blast around on the groomers there and pop off the rollers.

I'd need to look at a map to give you specifics, but I can say you will not be disappointed in Snowmass. Aspen was fun for the grooms and has a better apres scene.

Snowmass is the best overall moutain there. If highland bowl at highlands is open it is worth going there and doing the hike. The views from the top of the bowl are amazing. Steep lines out of there.

Aspen mountain is fun to do. It is decent atthe end of the day you can ride right to downtown Aspen walk across the street and get a beer. Urban ski area. Pretty kewl.

Unless you want park skip Buttermilk. Buttermilk sucks...
