CO Resort rank order

What are your top 5 favorite resorts in Colorado?

Mine:
Wolf Creek
Arapaho Basin
Crested Butte
Beaver Creek
Loveland

We always seem to have this conversation on the way home driving through the night after the Sunday ride.

Forgive the, "never been out west" ignorance but what constitutes a resort out thata way? Not sure I understand the objection to the question/list?

Ha ha...yes it is!!

No one else has a favorite ski area?

A Basin because I really like it and I have more days there than all other CO resorts combined. Plus, I learned to snowboard at A Basin so my butt has super fond memories of catching edges while bombing

They are ski areas...no lodging at the base area...and the stuff that goes along with having lodging at the base area.

CO Resorts: Keystone, Breck, Copper, Winter Park, Vail, Beaver Creek, Crested Butte, Steamboat, Aspen (all 4) and Telluride.

Ski Areas: A Basin, Loveland, Wolf Creek, Eldora, Ski Cooper, Powderhorn, Purgatory, Silverton, Sunlight, Granby Ranch and Monarch

I'm slowing working my way through all of them. I have to update my top 5 after every trip.

My favorite is..........wherever I'm ridin' at the time. Purgatory would prob be on the resort side of things.

You can almost call Monarch a ski resort. They do have a lodge. Though it is 5 miles down the road from the ski area. It is sort of a grey area resort...
