Default colorado weekend riding

Hi there,

Arriving on holiday for first day riding on a Sunday, I've heard of the shitty queues at a lot of the resorts in CO. I have a EPIC local pass so ideally looking at one of their mountains and using free bus service (from Frisco) so either the Breck, Keystone or A basin, or.... I could pay for shuttle to Vail, or pay lift pass for Copper for the day.
I'm thinking A basin would be best option for getting in some decent runs on a Sunday, smaller of course but should be less crowded? And then hit the other big resorts during the week? Am I correct or would I be better off at one of the others? If you have the time, a rating of crowdedness for the resorts above would be great.

thanks,

Actually Sunday is only busy until about noon after that everyone is fighting to get back to Denver and driving down I 70. Secret is show up early either go up high our out back at any of those resorts then work your way forward as feeding time at the zoo begins. Saturday will be a shit show.

Cool, good to know. Any of those in particular that you mention go high or outback which have good groomed blues and double blues, maybe some mellow park would be awesome.
May sound silly questions, but sometimes hard to get a feel from the trail maps in reality and parks are hardly ever where they say they are. Just its first day of season (summer here) and will be with the wife and, we will have new boards and bindings to get used to, so want to ease into it on the first day
Will be there for the following saturday, so sounds like we should try and time that for a rest day.

Breck you look at the map and that's it. Keystone you look at the map that's it. A basin you look at the map that's it but more wide open.

If you want to ease into it go to Breck and start on Peak 7 or 9. Avoid 8 right off the bat as it funnels people in big time.
