So my dad and a friend are going out to Co from our flat little world of Illinois the last week of Feb. Kind of a snowtrip/college visit combo We chose keystone with an abasin pass as it was one of the cheaper options with boarding. I know you guys can't tell me the secrets and the ways the mountain via forum, but any info about these places would be appreciated. Best places to eat, good runs, a-basin vs. Keystone (which to go to first or at all), ect. And if there is hate over the choice, know that anything in Colorado is better than a dirthill covered in slush
Get on the chair at A basin, go up, get off, look to your right, look to your left, decide which way looks fun then go down. Repeat all day till legs are tired.
Keystone show up, walk through village, laugh at the stupidity of its lay out, walk back tot he car, get in it, drive back to A basin.
But what about the free pass into the waterpark? Lol thanks guys for all the tips. The bbq sounds like a very fair price for on mountain food. Havent decided for or against brownbagging it yet so that could be an option. I would much rather ride the more difficult terrain on a local mountain than a "family" oriented resort. I think we'll do both days at a-basin
Around Elgin area. Basically the far suburbs
As for park, the occasional small jump is enough for me, not much of a park guy as I would rather speed down a hill.
As for the food being good, that is a win win. Low price and good food :jumping1:
