Ill be flying out to SLC next week and its looking like our game plan of chasing pow is going out the window given the lack of pow to be chased this season. Any resorts fairing better than others? Id like to hit up all the LCC resorts but im wondering how fun places like Snowbird and Solitude are if the snow conditions are rough? I had originally written off PCMR completely but a day or two of park riding may be necessary to keep things interesting if theres no fresh stuff elsewhere.

How is parking at most of the resorts? Is it easy to get back to your car midday to switch boards, grab a sandwich, etc or are you better off stashing gear in a locker and eating at the chalet?

This will be my first time in UT so any advice on how to make the best of 10 days in SLC would be appreciated.

Got another question regarding the SLC resorts; how is the shuttle/bus system there?

Looking at a trip and getting some hotel options for Salt Lake City and I am being told by my travel agent that the shuttles in the area are great. Essentially I won't need a rental car since the buses will take me to Brighton, Snowboard, and Solitude every day.

Yea as long as your staying somewhere on the ski bus route you'll be fine, if you rent a car get one with 4x4 if you plan on actually driving to the resrorts.

Brighton\Solitude have the parking lot right at the bottom of the lifts so accessing your car mid day is convenient.

BUT if you want to get off the beaten path and snow is good head north and stay at the Snowberry inn(cheap B&B) east of Ogden so you can ride Snowbasin and Powerder Mountain, no night life but super pretty and epic terrain that almost never gets rode out or crowded.

That or just hang out in SLC and ride LCC\BCC
