It looks like I will be leaving my job here in a couple weeks, came to a mutual agreement with the bossman.
![]() Anyways, I'm curious if any Denver locals on here know of any Architecture firms that are looking to hire a low-level peon. I have been designing Fire Protection Systems for the past two years, so I have been getting some work experience related to the field of Architecture. I'm graduating in May from RRCC with an AAS in Architectural drafting. Any leads or contacts would be greatly appreciated guys. I'm gonna keep searching, wish me luck....

Lame, sorry to hear about the job loss. Architectural work is tough around here. I have one friend who has been in that line of work for years. She hasn't found anything for over a year. Of course she is a very high level Architect, so she's over qualified for many positions. If I hear of anything I'll pass it along.
You might start selling plasma now though... |

try broadening your search. instead of just Architecture firms look at the industries that utilize those firms and architecture in general. Construction, engineering, etc. good luck man, sorry about the impending job loss.

Thanks for the advice guys, but I am not a licensed architect yet, years to go before that, but I will still check into other disciplines and see if they need a draftsman/ designer.

And Killclimbz, I'm sure your post about plama was sarcastic, but if it wasn't, I couldn't because I partake in the devil's lettuce a little too often haha.

Sorry to hear that man. I am thinking very heavily about selling all my shit, packing up and moving to Colorado springs area. Seeing as I need a new place to live anyways, I have always wanted to move to CO. Hows the job market down their? I will have my AS in web graphic design in a few months, but dont really care what I do for work.
