Hi
A buddy and I are trying to plan a trip from NY to Utah (snowbird/alta) or Colorado (steamboat). I was wondering if anyone knows a good website that offers discounted package deals from the Northeast to out West. How do you go about booking your trip? Travel agent? The resort website? Individually price things out? Basically I am looking for the cheapest way to get out there and spend a few days shredding. Hotel amenities are not important to me - a bed will do. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks. |

Book a flight that lands you early in SLC then drive to Park City to ride for free, just gotta show them your boarding pass.
Then drive to Sandy, UT and grab a room at the Motel 6 for however long you want to stay and you're a 30min shuttle to snowbird. If you're gonna be there Feb 19th-26th we shld def meet up. I'll have room in the rental car too if you'd ever need a lift somewhere. Parkcityinfo.com Liftopia.com Sandy Motels - From $40 - Hotels Motels Sandy - UpTake.com |

30 minutes to the mountain sounds very reasonable for that price. Have you stayed in Sandy before? We are late twenties and enjoy a few beers and socializing after a long day. Is there anything going on at night in Sandy or is it wise to hang near the resort and shuttle back late? How good is the shuttle service? Do they run all night/day? Thanks again. |
