Default Is This Even Going to Melt This Summer?

Took these pictures today coming back from A-basin just west of the summit on Loveland pass. This has to be at least 30' tall right? It's so massive I can't even picture it completely melting before temps start dipping in the fall.

Yup, we don't have that much snow, but Schweitzer still has something like a 10 foot snowpack at the top. They are supposed to open June 25 for Summer operations too... Don't see that happening.

There are definitely some huge drifts around here. The snow pack is at something like 240% of normal. June is looking like it'll be May type of riding around here. The high peaks couloir bagging should be really good. Hike a 13er or 14er and slide your way down. So much better than having to walk down those damn things.

Yeah there's still little spots of it in the shady areas.
