So I'm kinda stuck trying to figure out what I should do when it comes down to a season pass this year. I'm going to Colorado in January and snowboarding 5 days for sure with a bunch of my friends at Breckenridge. The problem is lift passes are going to cost me 355 for those 5 days so I started looking at season passes to see what the difference was. The Adult Summit Value Pass is 429 which gives me access to Breck, Keystone, and Abasin or I could get the Abasin bonus pass for 389 which would cover my 5 days at Breck plus access to Abasin of course. I am having a tough time getting another one of my friends interested in going out there a second time. Should I just say fuck it and hope I get someone to go, or go even if no one else will? I think the reason I'm having such a hard time deciding is because I would be dropping quite a bit of money for being a broke ass college kid. Any input would be helpful

A-Basin is a great mountain. Nowhere near as big as Breck and their park doesn't even hold a candle, but IMO, the terrain is superior.

It's a locals mountain with more natural terrain if you're cool with natural terrain in a small area do it up.

Dude fuck it go out there alone if you have to the second time. There are always cool people to meet and chill with not to mention hot girls who live out there and go ride with their girlfriends.

Hahaha no way, The guy to girl ratio in summit county is outrageous. If your coming out on a vacation here as a single guy your chances of meeting a girl that doesn't have a whole entourage of guys hanging all over her are very slim. Don't get me wrong, coming on your own is not bad. You'll get a whole LOT more riding in than you would if you came here with a group of your friends and chances are that you'll meet a bunch of really cool people just not a lot of hot single girls.

Yeah there are a lot of guys around but there are definitely girls too. Dude who said 12/1 is wrong, you just got to go to the right places man. I meet girls every year out there and I'm not some kind of pretty boy either. Tip - girls love to dance, go to clubs. Much closer to 50/50. All I'm saying is there is no reason not to go alone if riding is what you want to do. You can find cool people including cool girls to chill with. Travel alone is pretty cool in general, an experience!
