well, the plane leaves today.... and it still hasn't snowed... LOL
Have any of you been to Wolf creek? Is the coverage there worht the extra 2.5 to three hour drive? I don't mind driving, I just want these fools to have more of a "Colorado" experience vs sking on taller versions of what we have in Indiana. We are going to have a great time regardless. Just looking for the best early season riding we can get within a reasonable drive. |

SW Colorado is supposed to get hit tonight quite a bit better than the Front Range spots. So Wolf Creek could have some fresh.
It's pretty much the suck everywhere in the west right now, minus the PNW. Of which I think they have good coverage, but not much pow at the moment. It is still early season after all... |

I'll believe the snow when I actually see it fall from the sky. At this point anything helps but it's not going to be a game changer.

Well, the trip wnet down... LOL
Tilted Kilt in Devner was killer Friday night. ( damn, not an ugly woman in the building) Boarding Saturday was great and my New SL allowed me to ride switch better than ever before. What a cool piece of equipment. Dinner Sat night is where my trip crashed and burned. I got food poisoning and thought I was going to DIE all day Sunday. I was either sleeping or in the shitter or both sometimes. The guys that came out with me were stoked on the trip and had a great time thogh so the trip was still cool for them. my friends are convinced that my being sick Sunday was karmas way of keeping me out of area 51 and away from a snowmobile ride..... Wow that shit is a little big for us Flatlanders that dont get to ride it all the time.... LOL Thanks for the advice guys. I will be back in Jan and March for sure. |
