Hey Dudes!!

My name is Sam, I'm 25, currently living/working in Seoul, South Korea!! I just booked my flight to Colorado!!! Heading there December 29th and leaving February 24th. SO STOKED!!!! I already bought my EPIC local pass so I have access to Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin with limited restrictions at Heavenly and Northstar and 10 restricted days at Vail or Beaver Creek. I also lucked out with an awesome apartment and roomies in Frisco so I'm pretty much all set up.

However I lack buddies to shred with, the guys i'm crashing with are all weekend warriors and since I will not be working AT ALL, I plan to hit the slopes every possible moment that my body can physically handle. It would be awesome to meet people who are keen to board during the week, or whenever really. So if anyone is around during these dates hit me up.

Hope everyone is enjoying the start of the season in Colorado. I'm stuck in South Korea where there is no chance of snow any time in the immediate future C ya soon!!!!!

Sam

Im working evenings and will be boarding in Vail every morning until noon, I work at 3. I plan to go to breck every other Monday so.my son can hit some better parks. My son will ride with me every morning and then be riding the rest of the day alone. There will be plenty of boarding buddies around Frisco and breck.

I think the more important question would be how am I alieve. They used to do guided tours to north Korea a few years back, as long as u stayed in the designated area you were ok. someone accidentally went off the path and was shot immediately. Obviously that tour was banned.

Sam - If you wanna get together lets exchange details. I'll probably only get a pass to Breck since I'm flying into denver and wont have a vehicle and am staying in a condo there with friends. Us chicks can go out and make some friends ;)

hey -- well this may help you out some (or at least for a few days?), but im working for a company that is doing an auction to win lift tix & hang with Eric Willett and what not. The auction is for charity and costs are minimal. Its in Aspen - but hell you get free airfare. Not a bad way to spend part of a winter break. A friend just headed over to Seoul. Ive heard amazing things. info here: LastClck Registration code is: sport ... feel free to spread the word.

Wasssupp!! I'm just getting off a six day powder high in Whistler over the holidays, and headed to Colorado for a month and a half starting some time in mid February. I managed to find a place to live in Frisco, but I'll be living by myself and won't know a single person in the region, so I'd definitely be down to shred with you all! Looks like I'll be catching you towards the tail end of your trip Sam? I've got a RWD two seater coupe that looks ridiculous with a snowboard strapped to the top, but it's got snow tires and I know how to drive it! Hopefully the highway patrol won't try to turn me back from the pass on snow days? I'm not too familiar with Breck and Vail, but I'm hard headed with a serious powder addiction.

Here's to 2012!!

You can bring your Harley if you want this year.
Sold mine a few months ago..... Could've strapped the board to my back and got great fuel mileage this season

Word. My virago was the 535 cc so maybe having half the motor size has something to do with it (even tho that logic doesnt follow with cars...).

Given the size I had to wind her up pretty hard to do highway speeds. Rode it from Santa Barbara to Chigago by myself when I was 20, good times. Made it through the rockies to find I burned every drop of oil climbing them (it was a brand new bike with no problems prior or after this)!

i'd apologize and offer the thread back after jacking it, but i think our bike talk has only helped this POS excuse for a thread :D

Anyone with any recon of the Vail resorts? It's snowing along i70 now, and some resorts (Vail, Beaver Creek) are predicted to get between 2-8" by the end of the night.

Anyone been to Beaver Creek yet this season, specifically recently? Saw some reports that during those wind storms on NYE, a lot of shit was messed up. I'd figure they have cleaned everything up by now, so anyone know?

I'm heading up tomorrow morning and need to make a decision of which resort to go to...

BTW - in regards to the motorcycle talk, Night Trains are the shit. I've recently been on a moto kick again, thinking I might get one this summer. I had a Suzuki GSX-R 750 for about 4-5 years during/after college, but sold it about 4 years ago now. Been looking at these Buell XB12's now a days... some of them are pretty damn sick.

I was there Tuesday morning. Snow really sucks at the lower elevations at Beaver.
