bad year for a trip out west? - Snowboarding Forum

i had been planning on riding out west this year but the lack of snow has me discouraged. will it turn around and be epic conditions mid march? i'm really wanting to buy a mountain bike but need the money for the trip, trying to decide what is a better buy this year?

Keep going west past where you are thinking and land in Japan. There's 3 feet of snow at the beach right now.

No, just go to the right spots, follow the storms...alaska, bc, etc

i dont have the kind of cheddah that is required to storm chase. i'll have to pick a resort in advance and hope conditions are good. we just got back from snowshoe wv and conditions were not good. kind of a wasted trip.
