If you've been watching OpenSnow or any of the news channels, Summit and Eagle counties are about to get some of the highest single day snow totals we've had all year. On top of that, breck just opened upper terrain including their 6 chair. I'm expecting some absolutely horrendous traffic for tomorrow morning and evening but how bad do you think it will be?

Probably really bad. Cdot tweeted that there was heavy traffic last night around 8 pm at the tunnel. Everyone on the front range trying to drive up plus snowpacked roads = disaster. I'm going to try to drive up later tonight. Heading to Winter Park so hopefully they keep bertoud open.

If you're passing the Morrison exit by 6:30am, it'll be fine.
Planning on hitting Berthoud Pass on Sunday. Hopefully it's not closed as I probably won't have time to wait for it to open. We'll see. |

I'll be heading up for Loveland from Evergreen tomorrow morning around 7am.
