what the hell...how could pcmr let it get to this point?
disagrement over an expired lease? how are they not on top of that? so the resort decides to sue them for 'attempting to shut us down?' |

I won't be surprised if they are done and shut down. Utah has some fucked up management at ski hills. What a fucking shit show. A year like the last few for guests and snow at the wrong times....= death.
More trails for splitboarders. |

I don't really care for PCMR, but Talisker does seem to be being very unethical and predatory here. I'm sure it's part of their plan to get on the interconnect money making train that is steam rolling it's way into the Cottonwoods. Unbelievable. Corporations are soon going to own all of our public land and the sad thing is a majority of the public is going to think this is a good thing until it's too late.

I had a landlord once who tried pulling a very similar maneuver on me, though it was near the end of my lease. A lot of battling & sticking up for my rights as a tenant & 2 months later I was being paid to stay in the house I was renting. I moved out a month later with 30 days notice just to spite the asshole. I hope PMCR doesn't end up getting the boot in this battle. I agree with you guys, too many people thing corporate owned & operated resorts is the way to go, but I strongly disagree. Corporations all too often get greedy and fuck up a great thing. I've never ridden outside of California, but this resort was on my list of places to go in the future. Hope it stays open so I can make that trip...

First of all, it really makes no sense to have a resort where the land is owned by the competition.
ALso, if pc closes the canyons is gonna be so crowded its just gonna suck. Also, that would be no more night boarding in pc area and that would be a loss of 3 sweet parks. |

The "People" own the land.....right. White trash idiots like MDP like this sort of shit. Their pathetic lives of greed and ego are more important than the common good. |
