Default Park city

Do you need any special backcountry equipment or training to ride runs like Portuguese gap, rhino, scotts bowl, pinecone ridge, or p zone. Basically, if the run has a name can i assume that i will be safe as an expert snowboarder from a place with no backcountry so i have no backcountry training or equipment.

Sorry for stupid questions but i rather ask stupid questions than find the answers far too late

Only place you will want to have gear is if you duck a rope or pass a sign that says out of bounds. Also any sign with skull and crossbone is a good way to get the point across don't go there.
