I just got back Monday from Breckenridge. Was out there last Thursday -Saturday.

Starting out, everything is icy and thin. About 10-12 everything loosens up and its OK......OK. from 1-2 afterwards its slush. The only way to get around it is stay up high but even that is tough.

Went out for my bachelor party hoping to get lucky (no pun intended) and have it dump at least a bit .........yeah that never happened. We made the best of it but the snow was sub par.

My suggestion is to save your money for next year. If your riding shitty conditions there's no sense in driving that far for more shitty conditions .......

I wouldn't say I've been riding shit all year, in fact at Mount Bohemia up in Michigan I got lucky on the 2 trips I took there this year and got about 10 days worth of powder riding, so it's not like I'm looking for all time snow. I just don't want to end the year with under 35 days of riding. I knew when booking the hotel and getting the lift tickets I would be riding sub-par conditions, but is it really so shitty that I would be pissed when I got there?

I already have my head set on Montana next year, I have heard enough that I think I need to check out Bridger and Big Sky, the only thing dragging me to Colorado is I'm going with a buddy I haven't ridden with or seen in about 5 years who lives in Iowa now and he talked me into it, so I don't want to back out on him if at all possible and he really digs CO but if I had my choice I would go to J-Hole. I'm holding off on MT though until next year(hopefully a better winter) because I don't want to be left with a bad first impression due to shit snow, and I hear they aren't doing much better than anywhere else this year.

Overall I'm going to remember this winter and hate it, I live in Green Bay, WI and it was 82* today, IN THE MIDDLE OF MOTHER F*CKIN MARCH!!!

Yep, that's spring riding, it's just not normally coming into play until well into April. Mid-March is usually as good as it gets.

Spring conditions can be fun though. I'm kind of glad we're hitting spring conditions if it's not gonna snow. Spring riding beats the shit out of hardpack, which is what we've dealt with most of the season.

honestly it feels like summer right now at keystone. I havent gone boarding in 2 weeks and I live here. You might enjoy it and we might get more snow. My roommate works at a bay and he told me a coupld of days ago it will stay open till june 1st

Okay so here's the deal we're on our way to CO halfway through Nebraska. Just curious here, between Breck or Keystone, which would you go to to get as many runs in as possible halfway through the day tomorrow and why or should we just ignore that idea entirely and waiting for a full day? Also want to know when should try to get to the hill on an ideal day.

Go to keystone cause they have night skiing/riding all through the end of march. it goes till 8pm/ avoid weekends to avoid crowds

That's the same thought we had, I didn't think it was too crowded, and I was honestly expecting conditions to be worse. Anybody know what conditions are like at A-Basin?
